What if I lead a good life but am not Christian and have not accepted Jesus? Where do I go?

If Satan doesn't want me then I can't go to hell. What if I convert to Christianity when I am in hell?

If Satan rules hell then he decides who to let in. Just like God decides who gets into heaven.

Come over to my house.

Additional edit:

It's a 1 bedroom apt, honeybun, with a little balcony that has a view of a parking lot but it's within walking distance of lots of nice pubs and restaurants and movie theaters--and only a 45 minute train ride to NYC. You'll love it. And I won't browbeat you like God or torment you like Satan. You will have to do your own laundry, though-- and vacuum the rug once in a while.

FYI, I don't think God is Christian, actually, so although It might kind of sort of want you to appreciate something or other of what Jesus was about in the grand scheme of things, It probably won't judge you on the basis on whether you "believe" in him in the "fundy" sense of the word. Don't worry. Everything will be OK. I promise.

I believe you will meet God when you die. Then you will be sent on a new journey to learn lessons that you need to learn so you can become closer to a life of peace for eternity. For some people it takes many lives to figure out the meaning of life. It's all about what your heart has learned. God knows we come from different places in this world and He knows that we are taught different beliefs. He is all of the Gods. He knows none of us have it exactly right but the point is that you have faith and love in your heart. If you believe God has slanted eyes or dark colored skin, then that is what He is for you. I understand that people believe the only way to heaven is through Jesus. I believe in Jesus but I believe a bit different than a lot of people I know. I know God understands that a child that is raised in a country where their family, friends, schools, churches and anywhere they turn has been taught in a certain way, probably will never think in a different way. He will show them through there beliefs what they need to know. It doesn't make this entire country of people wrong. Just different. We all find God in different ways, and as long as we have Him in our hearts no matter how you picture Him or pray to Him, He understands. You sound like a spiritual person. None of us have the exact answers to anything and that's ok. God will give you what you need to know if you ask. The rest of our questions will be answered one day. Don't worry about what you don't know. I will say this, going to the dark side and not having love and understanding for other people in your heart is not the way to go, with or without facts.

God will always want you and will never leave you or forsake you. He will try his hardest to get you to realize that He's been trying to get your attention for a while now. But, you do have free will, and, you can choose if you will follow Him, or, you choose to be lead into the depths and despair of hell.

It's not enough to simply "lead a good life" -- as that is completely subjective. To some, a good life might mean fancy cars and tons of friends; to others, a good life might mean a hot meal every day.

But know that God isn't wishy-washy like that. Truth to him is not relative to a situation. It's black or white; it is or it isn't.

You can know for sure where you'll go after death simply by allowing Jesus to be your savior.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”- Ephesians 2:8-9

If you read the scriptures, you will find that Satan is not in charge of hell. Rather he will be the first prisoner there. He has no control over who else joins him. So he can not let you in or keep you out. That is something you do yourself by your own decisions in life.

Admission to heaven is not based on good works, bad works, or any other kind of lifetyle. Rather it is based on whether or not you have a relationship with God. Kind of like no matter how good or bad you are probably will not affect whether you are included in Bill Gate's will. To make it into his will, you would have to have a relationship that makes him want to include you.

Well, the immediate and difficult answer is hell.

The fact of the matter is in the Christian faith, Satan wants as many souls as he can get, so he WOULD want you, no matter what.

As for living a good life, the bible answers that there is none among us who is good. Not one. Therefore, the only way to heaven is through his son, Jesus Christ who sacrificed himself for our sins, making us acceptable to God.

Its a difficult concept and I still don't fully understand it. Id wager that many Christians struggle with this - there is an inherent belief that "If I live a good life, I'll be ok, right?" and the biblical answer is no, you won't.

If you lead a good life but have not accepted Jesus, you would go to the first level of Hell, according to Dante. There, you would be in the company of Julius Caesar, Homer, Socrates, Virgil, and their ilk, and unbaptized babies.

If you don't do anything with your life and make no decisions about who and what you are, you would go to anti-inferno. There, the punishment is worse than almost any level of Hell. You chase a blank banner for all of eternity and are stung by wasps as your pus from the wounds is eaten by maggots. Fun stuff.

Our Creator is a contradiction, the light and dark...Its whats in your Heart that counts..Do not recognise Death except in the physical sense...Apart from that i know nothing..The religious books cannot be trusted too many lies....This might be Hell so much suffering,is it the only way people learn..So what iam saying "Is not sure of this talk of god and The Devil,Heaven and Hell"..Believe in par ell universes .in an inner "soul",which has travelled in time and that in the end you either believe we are the result of some happy accident,or things were created by design..I believe design...The universe is too great ,too vast to believe this is the one and only dimension to life..Do not think its as clear cut as god or the Devil...Our Creator encompasses everything..

We have the same question in mind.I would like to believe there's a "somewhere out there" to go after death but nobody has yet to prove there is really a place for us where we really belong when we die.
The only fact i can give you is when we die, we go to the morgue then to funerals to crematory (optional) or straight to the cemetery! The END!

You can lead a great life....but you are still a sinner. You have to stand in judgment for ALL your sins. Jesus will stand in for you ,but you have to accept Him as that Savior from sin.If you don't ,you go to Hell. That is scripture.Satan has no say who goes to Hell. He's trying to stay out of it himself unlike the cartoons that show him ruling there.

I'm afraid you will go to hell whether you believe in it or not. Satan will be there too but he doesn't run the place, he'll just be another inmate. You won't get to meet however because you'll be totally alone for eternity.
