My roomate has three completely heinous couches, a hunter green suede one, an air-force blue one, and a beige one. Since she loves them so much, I'm forced to live with them. I'm having trouble deciding how to go about decorating our living room because I really don't know how to pull them together.
Does anyone have any ideas on colors to use for window treatments, wall decour, etc....
also, if you could help me think of a general theme for the room that would be fantastic....

Could you suggest slipcovers for the sofas so that they all match?

Actually, the hunter, blue & beige color scheme doesn't sound that hard to work with. I'm sure that you can find some draperies that have at least two of those colors in common. Such as:

With those colors, I think you could definitely pull off a cabin/lodge, Americana or cottage theme. Think of landscapes with forest greens & a bright blue sky.

For this room, decide which color you would like to emphasize.
1] paint the walls ivory, sky blue, or mint/sage green.
2] buy drapes in beige [ ivory walls ], blue [ with sky blue ], or mint [ with hunter green ].
3] get about six throw pillows, in a print of blue, hunter, and beige, for all three couches.
4] repeat the beige, blue, and hunter in small accessories - lamps, vases, ornaments, flowerpots, candles/holders.
5] try for some wall art in the same colors - there should be quite a few with this combo.

Find some pictures that that has all of the colors incorporated so that it brings the three together. Pick one of the colors of the couches to make that your main color and focus on that with accents, vases, accessories, etc. Fortunatly these three colors are not bad matches. Good luck.

One word Slip-Covers. You do not have to spend much on them. Go to the discount store and find three king size flat sheets, in colors and patterns that you like and cover the three sofas. It seems that with three sofas your place is rather large. You might try rearranging them into separate seating areas. Also, two very important elements in decorating are accessories and throw pillows. Both are fairly inexpensive, but effective. Give me more information and I would love to try to assist you more.

What a pair of gold shade? that's between orange and purple yet i don't think of it is going to pass too stable with a pink kitchen except your lounge would not flow your kitchen. something on the line of a terracotta shade. by capability of how, it is not a stupid question. each physique, alongside with me, won't be in a place to be an indoors decorator. stable success and save your rainbow intact!!!!
