Despite Pepsico's attempt to market Gatorade to the Great Unwashed, its not a good idea to drink that stuff if you're not doing endurance sports or hard physical work in the heat.

All that sugar in Gatorade will make you store fat. Drinking lots of water is good for you, up to a point.

The biggest affect it will have on you is on your wallet. Unless you are an extreme athlete (like an NFL football player) they are completely unneccessary. Water is good enough for me and you.
