sure Riegan, why not?
I can't fathom why he would aim to since you would need to define the actual PURPOSE of such an act, but to perform the act, yeah he could.

This answer is going to be going against all the other answers you've recieved so far. And might come as a shock to many people. BUT, Contrary to what people believe, god cant do anything. Is he all powerful, yes, can he do anything he wants, no. There are certain rules god has to play by, for example, god cannot lie. If he were to lie, he would cease to be god. The question could be asked, can god build a rock so big that he could not lift it.
That is a contradiction. IF god can do anything, he would be able to both build that big of a rock, and he would be able to lift it. but you can alwalys find something that contradicts itsself.
There are rules, and laws which god must adhear to. Changing himself to a car is not in the program

Hi, I will do my best to answer this seriously:
It is important, when discussing God to understand first of all, what God is. As far as I know, God is personality. It is a being that does not exist in the bounds of space or time, it IS and always has been.
What we see before us, is indeed, what one might call, God's creation. You might for instance, get in your car today and wonder, is this God?
To say God is everything is to adopt pantheism. While it is true, as far as I believe, that your car and all other things in the universe are a manifestation of God's energy, UNLESS IT HAS PERSONALITY, it is not "God." It may be an extension of God's energy, but no personality is indwelt in an car (unless it's Knight Rider's car, that's a different story! :) ). If God really did however want to put a personality in a car, I suppose it is possible so long as the car is mechanistically designed to house a soul or spirit. It is true, all things are possible with God, for He is a willful entity. Although, you must also ask yourself, if God is perfect, even if he is actualizing to perfection through us, his creation, what would be the logical reason to create a personality in a car? I do not think all realities are possible with God so much as all good realities or actualizing good realities are possible with God. If God sees no reason to be a car, why should he right? :)
I suppose a simpler way to answer this question would be: If you were God, and this was your creation, what would you want? Would you want to be a car? LOL ;) I know I wouldn't, I could think of better things to be...like me! :)

GOD is everwhere because he lives inside all of us. He doesn't change into planes, trains and automobiles. He's the good in every living creature, he lives in our soul, our subconscience. He's the reason we help others whether you believe in him or not.
GOD embodies goodness, helpfulness, concern for other people. He's the reason our hearts break when we hear about a child being hurt even though we don't know them. GOD is compassion.
On some level we love everything that's why we have a moment of sadness when something bad happens across the world to other people or animals. GOD lives in our hearts and minds, that's what makes us human, our compassion and ability to feel. He's everywhere because we are a part of him just like you are a part of your parents.
Hope this helped.

You have a very primitive idea of what God is or what you call God. To define the Deity is impossible as is any attempt to define his attributes. Someone once said that God is the sum of all being or the ground of all being. At best God is the projected personification of our positive aspirations or perhaps you can come up with a better one. If you do, then there is the basis for yet another religion.

See I dont know about Christianity, but I do know that God is not a creation. He is outside the created world, not bounded by its laws that He has created.

it is like saying what if God could create a rock bigger than infinity so that even God could not move it .... a circular arguement that neither asks a solveable question nor increases your knowledge of the world
try-- what is sound of one hand clapping

He is also sovereign and logical. Could He...if He wanted to. But what sense would that make? What purpose would it serve?

He probably could, but I doubt He would choose to because a car can be controlled by humans.

THOU SHALT NOT TEMPT THE LORD ALMIGHTY. Even if He does, why would he do it? And how would He turn back if He's INANIMATE? I ask you that.
