Psalm 14
The fool says in his heart, 'There is no God.'

The Bible is filled with contradictions and pathetic ignorance off science and reality. If such a deity did exist, he'd be an illiterate imbecile. It is obvious that the men who claimed to speak for a god one of them invented are the ones who wrote such silly stuff. Moses is said to have written the first 5 Bible books. He has an Egyptian name and was probably influenced by Ikhnaton the first monotheist. Moses was a henotheist however. His 1st commandment shows that. I ask you how can you be so sure that zeus, Odin, Yu Ti, Ahuramazda, Amon, Ra, Marduk, Baal, Asshur, the Flying Spaghetti Monster and other gods do not exist? You surely say yopur god is real but the others are not. Well, I just carry it to the logical conclusion and see that no gods exist.

they can't
they are arrogant
i'm agnostic

look at all the technology created in the past 100 years
and in the past 10
we are gaining intelligence possibly through advanced communication at an exponential rate
to conclude their is no god in a time where it's easy to see we have so much more to learn is just foolish

you see and understand 3 dimensional space clearly
but what about 4 or 5 dimensions
it's similar to that scientist always look for water on other planets to verify that life can exist but that doesn't apply for the possibility that other life may exist void of our own molecular structure

also
when you ask what is the smartest animal on earth (humans) you may get an answer of monkeys or dolphins
but all of them seem to have no awareness to our existence until they encounter us, even so they may not even acknowledge us
so, who's to say there can't be some other species or god above us that we just can't see or comprehend because they may exist by physical laws we just do not know of

the circle tells the sphere he is just a series of circles that has learned to manipulate and move through time a 3rd dimension

who is moving through time gaining a 4th dimension that we can't see because they are everywhere at every time

using logic to conclude no God
is the same as the religions atheist hate
Logic has set rules that you have to follow to validate proof and these rules are created by people
they are not necessarily even real

i answered this question because a lot of people group agnostics and atheist together
and i wanted to say with a bunch of blather
that is not the case
i tolerate people, but atheist are such whiny arrogant jerks

I'm a skeptic. I don't believe in anything. There are things I know because I've experienced, repeatable, documented proof of those things.

I have never seen a shred of evidence that there is a god, deity, devil, demons, angels, spirits, or any other supernatural phenomenon.

Therefor I know that there is no evidence for god that I have ever seen.

And looking at all the lack of evidence, and the demonstrated proof of how some believers try to manipulate and fabricate undocumented and untestable proof, I doubt there ever will be any proof for the existence of any god.

Religious doctrine is too geocentric and ignorant of current understanding. Although I'm sure believers disagree, many non-believers would agree that there are many additions due to motivations of men and contradictions. The OT God also appears inhumane. When you strip away religions and realize that all are man made, then god concept is man made as far as the evidence we have. Then there is no logical premise for god belief. It doesn't mean we exclude it as a possibility, it just means there isn't any reason we see to believe so.

I'm not sure.

I'm also not sure that unicorns exist, but until I see some evidence, it doesn't seem like a possibility worth taking seriously.

The religious believers on this forum seem so proud of themselves whenever they get atheists to admit they can't prove, logically, that God exists. That seems to me like a very small victory indeed.

How can you be so sure that there is? I only know that this belief has been forced onto all generations of most families. Therefore, the children then grow up, never haing their own belief. Fortunaltley, my parents let me decide, I just don't believe that there is one.

because there is no scientific evidence to support it. And besides, if "God" is a all knowing, all loving God, then wouldn't he agree and understand the rational opinions of other people? Instead of "Damning people to hell" or telling people to worship him. Course, the reason that people believes there is a "God" are hoodwinked to believe that there is no man beind the curtains fooling them.

The more relevant point to me is this: If God is the one described in the Bible, how would anyone choose to worship such a monster, except out of preservatory fear?
