1. God LOVES you and offers a wonderful PLAN for your life.

"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" John 3:16.

Why is it that people are not experiencing the abundant life?

2. Man is SINFUL and SEPARATED from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life.

Man Is Sinful
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23.

3. Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.

"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8.

4. We must individually RECEIVE Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.

"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" John 1:12

Or . . . here's another way to look at scripture and God's message, that isn't man-made "laws," but God's law.

Through the Torah, the first five books given to the Hebrews, God has laws, some of which were misinterpreted by people.

So, in Jeremiah 31:34, God says, “I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”

God told people how to live, by writing on their hearts. They didn't live that way, so God sent Jesus, to try to explain in better detail.

In his letter to the Romans, Paul uses the same terminology when he writes “when Gentiles, {people who aren't Jews} who do not possess the law, do instinctively what the law requires, these, though not having the law, are a law to themselves. 15 They show that what the law requires is written on their hearts, to which their own conscience also bears witness; and their conflicting thoughts will accuse or perhaps excuse them 16 on the day when, according to my gospel, God, through Jesus Christ, will judge the secret thoughts of all.” (Romans 2:14-16)

Jesus is our defender, when God judges how we keep God's law.

According to Paul, some people, with the law written on their hearts, won't need Jesus, but do we really want to take that chance, when Jesus can be there to defend us before God?

I'm a pastor in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ.) Look for one of our churches, or a United Church of Christ church, or a church with a pastor who attended a scholarly seminary, and continue this conversation . . .

Godspeed.

1. God loves us. 2. Man is sinful. 3. Jesus is the Savior 4. Through Jesus we become children of God. I like these. Here is a set of four that I have learned and try to live because of John 17:3. Honesty - Not just myself but in every way instead of lies or excuses - say - getting to work late telling the truth. Purity - To be without motive other than to be helpful. This is not looking at everything as what I will get from it but just to make the world a better place. Unselfishness - Much like the earth was the center of the universe a few hundred years ago I noticed that I was the center of my universe - I have noticed this in others too having been there and done that - God is now center not myself - Giving and not getting - thinking of others not self - doing for others not only self. Love - Being kind, gentle, caring, thoughtful, strong, and giving.

Thanks for the info.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 says, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”

God loves us but made us weak sinners. Now in order to accept his flawed creations he must first have blood sacrifices then he must sacrifice his own son. In order to save us we must worship him or be flung into a burning lake to be tortured by Satan who he also created and continues to tolerate and allow to exist. Not my spiritual laws but good luck with that for yourself.

Thanks for that. This is the truth & is a better faith than any other one out there. This is the promise of eternal life with Jesus Christ.

We are redeemed (born from above) only through faith in Jesus Christ & His redeeming blood.

More accurate FOUR SPIRITUAL LAWS:

1. I'm right.
2. The Bible says so.
3. The Bible is right because God says so.
4. It's in the Bible.

You do realize that the bible is up for interpretation, and that sometimes, the interpretation is up to the individual? That just because I interpret those things differently than you...doesn't make me wrong?

You do realize that not everybody is going to agree with you simply because maybe their interpretation is different?

I really wish people would see that...

Yes I am.

This is a first good step in introducing someone to the gospel.
