Nobody has ever said that we evolved from monkeys. The theory is that we share a common ancestor, and the pathway diverged along the evolutionary line and we ended up with completely different species. Do you always swallow everything that you're fed by the media, or do you ever seek to understand things for yourself?

monkeys and chimpanzees are separate species...humans evolved from apes, not monkeys...and jesus is a myth. he evolved from a fertile imagination...

The only people I ever hear saying we came from chimps or monkeys are conservatives and fundamentalists who deliberatey misrepresent what Darwin said because that is the only way they can support their silly intelligent design baloney.
