About how much would it cost to enclose my 720 square foot carport and make it into a small apartment? I live in Alabama.

This carport is already on a concrete slab. We have a septic tank and it would have to be wired and all applicances may be bought seperate. The air would be included in the apartment

Depends. You would have to have plumbing done...if it is on a slab, then there will be even more expenses! Electrical would have to be on a separate meter...unless you would include that in the price of the apartment. Then you have all of the framing, drywall, fixtures, sinks, toilet, bathtub, windows...not to mention having to do this to code which varies state to state and city to city. You may have to get permits...depending on if you are zoned. I can't really put a price on it not knowing the layout and all of the above! I would definitely call a contractor and see what he/she would have to say. Good luck!
