There are three popular drawing programs available for Linux.

Inkscape (www.inkscape.org)
Karbon14 (http://www.koffice.org/karbon)
Xara Xtreme (http://www.xaraxtreme.org/)

Each has its own benefits and drawbacks. I personally prefer Inkscape, but occasionally use Xara when I need to work with complicated files. I don't know much about Karbon.

Note that The GIMP and Krita are NOT drawing programs. They are paint programs and image editors, and are not suitable for vector drawing.

There is always Gimp and u can search for many other software like that if u have added all the repositories. Since Linux has equivalent's for every Windows software then I am sure one must exist. There is one more software which is free but I am not sure if its in Suse Linux repos, but it should be, its called:
Inkscape Vector illustrator
I hope I helped.
Good Luck and take care!

The GIMP is built-in to Suse. It's more like PhotoShop than Corel Draw, though.

Google for: Suse Linux dtp software

Not exactly. The companies that produce those software packages don't provide Linux versions. You may have some success using WINE to run them (it provides some degree of Windows compatibility) but you'd probably be better off seeking native alternatives.

http://www.inkscape.org/ - this is a free open source linux based DTP software but I've never used it.

It should be already installed when you installed SuSE but if not, load up yast and install it over the internet or off your installation CD - easy.. I use SuSE 9.3 and it is installed on my computer.

Good luck !

The Gimp is the most advanced pain program you can find for Linux.
