Am I not supposed to refill it with more water? Or is it telling me Dasani will not refill my bottle once it's empty? Lolz. I wouldn't expect them to.

This is weird. I have never seen this before. Anyway, there was a news special on CNN that states that it is unhealthy to reuse water bottles. This is because after a period of time the plastic begins to break down, and those chemicals that is used to make the plastic is contaminating your water. If you like Wal-Mart brand water, it is just 2.50 per 24. That way you can just throw the empty bottle away, and not have to worry about throwing money away. Dasani is expensive to me, but is does taste good.

They don't want you to reuse the bottle. I do it once I run out at work, I just fill it from the water fountain. But don't do it for more than a couple of days because it can grow stuff in it, and some plastic might be broken down by chemicals in tap water. So, they just are releasing their responsibility if you refill the bottle.

Dasani is just tap water from sidcup in kent, england. I know I live near there. It has no heatlh benefits other than it's just water. Why would anyone pay money and buy a bottle of tap water. Never mind the bottle re-fill just the think of the mug! That's the mug that bought tap water!!!!

At one time, you could buy a product and if you brought back the bottle, you could get a refill at a reduced cost. You left a deposit on the bottle, so if you decided you didn't want a refill you could get your deposit back.

I refill the bottles once used everyday. I noticed after several months they stink. Then I toss 'em.

If you refill the bottle they don't get paid, that's why it's there.
There has been a report from the water bottle industry saying refilling with tap water releases chemicals fromthe plastic. But a lot of waters are from municiple supplies, so why doesn't their water release the same chemicals from the plastic?
It's a lie, that's why.
