I bought Bioshock for PC and dont have an internet connection. Is there a way to bypass the updates it needs?

Is there something I can download on a different computer and transfer it in? Please advise because I can't return the thing and really want to play it. Thanks!!!

It says right on their website "Important Note: Game requires Internet connection for activation". The same would be true for updates.

You need an Internet connection, period.
