I was born Asatru, to Christian parents.
I was raised Christian.
Converted to Christianity at age 8, and now, I've reverted to Asatru.

Hmm...well, I'm a teen, so I guess I'm still being raised. ;)
But my parents never really raised me into any religion and I'm thankful for that everyday. My dad was raised Catholic (he's not anymore) and my mom was raised Baptist, but when they got married they decided that my sisters and I get to choose our own religion. We don't go to church, but if we did it would be non-Denominational. My parents don't believe in forcing any religion on anyone and they want me to understand the importance of making a well-informed choice (meaning that I should study a lot of religions before just randomly choosing one). Anyway, sorry to ramble, but nothing really. My mom is very Goddess-oriented with her spiritual path...so I guess she's a bit Pagan, I'm definitley Pagan but I'm still exploring what specific religion I want to be a part of, my Dad is kind of Agnostic, my younger sister is undecided, and my older sister is Atheist. Boy our we interesting! (lol) ;]

Well technically, I'm can be considered a pagan of the Yahwist tradition if you look at it from a certain point of view...

;-)

I was born in that tradition but have walked different paths within in it.

The one I'm currently on is like walking lost through a very thick forest in the middle of nowhere and I cannot see the sky.

I was raised Southern Baptist by my mother, while my father, who had no real contact with me until I was 18, was of Jewish Albanian heritage.

I became Pagan in my mid twenties (about 12 years ago) after taking a course on the Bible in college and becoming very disillusioned by what I found out. The cool part is that my Dad gave up Judaism and became Pagan in his late fifties (about 5 years ago) without me even knowing about it and with him not knowing that I had become Pagan either. We mutually figured it out about a year ago, and it was definitely a wonderful surprise!

This was a very cool question, thanks for asking it.

I was born and raised by an Agnostic mother, latter a Christian aunt was added to the mix (although both were raised Catholic). Now I'm Asatru, but I've never considered myself anyother religion although I did study many. I believe you must know your religion to be one of the members yet you don't have to be a member just because you study it :)

I wasn't really raised in any religion as my parents never went to church or sent me to sunday shool, but I was baptised in the Church of England. When I was 12 I decided to start going on m own, then went over to the Pentecostal church, back to C of E for a while before becoming disillusioned with christianity. Its ben a winding path thrugh Buddhism, Wicca and a fewothers before setting my fee on a druidic pah abou10 years ago, bu have considered myself pagan for about 20.

I was brought up and confirmed as Church of England. As a child I was constantly being told I had a Heathen soul. It was already apparent that I had intuitive gifts.
What surprises me the most is how insightful they were of me at such an early age.
Bright Blessings

MY mothers family was Baptist and my fathers was Episcopalian. I never really had any formal religious teaching growing up so my understanding of the religion back then was..well...skewed. Either way I eventually understood that the very foundation of christian belief was antithetical and anethema to my existance and...after several years of searching...Found Asatru...which was so like what I already believed on a philosophical, moral and ethical level that I knew I belinged there.

I was born to an atheist mother and a very catholic father in quite a fanatically catholic surroundings. Grandma went to church twice every day (church is 50 m away from our house). She held a grudge against my mother for years.
