I don't believe in everything written in the bible, however there are some things that may be alright. I don't believe in most of it because I did some research and it soon showed that the bible was made up about 317-320 CE this is a long time after the Mythical Jesus existed

We're aware that there are people around who are under the illusion that not believing in the same magical, invisible, supernatural beings that they believe in will "doom" someone. However, we have no reason whatsoever to believe that there's any truth to it, and they can't demonstrate that there's any truth to those claims.

Why? Because I studied it extensively and intensively for many years.
And finally realised I couldn't make it make sense in the terms that it claimed for itself. Despite my best efforts to do so. Not and stay honest.

You will find a lot of atheists know their bible well.
Better than many Christians.

you might want to look back on how the Bible has been formed and printed... review the history especially when religions started to emerge...

inconsistencies of the Bible, the gaps, controversies behind the selection of authors and books, and the reliability of the authors (humans)

translations of the Bible have made things more complicated, harder for people to believe in its sacredness...

culture may also have bearing as to what people believe and what they do not...

Says who? Your 'doom' is to live a false life believing in an ancient fantasy.

stop and ask yourself this question... exactly who's version of the bible are you reading (goahead we will wait for to come back)......most likely King James version right..NOT God's version but King James. that said you are basing MY etrernal damnation on YOUR belief that King James did not alter God's word. History tells us that King James did alter the bible to suit his needs and desires to control his subjects. This is also indicated by the fact that he claims the bible to be his version. so in short ..... King james rejected God's reality and substituted his own. and I am going to your hell because you believe that King James had MY best interrest at heart???? i dont think so

Paul sumed it up well

18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written:
"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."[c]
20Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
