MI5 is the British version of the FBI. MI6 is their version of the CIA.

Or the other way around, both were in existence before their respective USA agencies were.

model 15 m 15 was the first samples sent to Vietnam for evaluation....selective fire was added and the m 16 was born

some of the early armalite designs had a (AR) prefix for armalite rifle such a the AR 15 .. AR 180...AR 10

For clarification MI5 and M15 are completely different things. MI5 is British intelligence, and M15 was the for runner of the M16 assault rifle.

I assume you are talking about the military intelligence groups, and not the M-16 standard issue rife in the military.

mi5 is the british secret services (american equivilent is navy seals)

mi6 is british intellegence (american version is c.i.a.)

I'm not aware of there being an m15, but the m16 was the primary wapon for US forces through the 1970s-1990s era. It was a 5.56 mm automatic weapon
