They are boneless and weren't frozen when I bought them.

were they still cold when you noticed? Pork is a dangerous meat just like chicken when it comes to bacteria.

I would say throw them out to be safe unless they were still very cold when you got up.

throwing out 5.00 worth of chops is better than hundreds of dollars in medical bills

No way! When it doubt, throw it out! Whatever the cost of the pork chops is not worth the misery and potential health risk. Also some people such as the very young or very old are more likely to get sick (and worse) from food-bourne illnesses.

absolutely not !!
sorry, throw them out and buy some new ones.
You have a "four hour window" in which the meat can sit out & still be considered safe. Between the temperatures of 40 - 145 bacteria multiplies rapidly,so after 4 hours, the meat is too contaminated to be considered safe.

I wouldn't risk it with pork; why take chances? Food poisoning isn't fun, and pork is one of the most bacteria infested foods there is. I know it feels like wasting good food, but it will help to remind you not to do that again. Better to be safe than sorry and miserable later.

I wouldn't chance it !! It would be less expensive to replace the chops than to pay the medical bills associated with eating bad chops.

Passing along some advice my parents drilled into me. It works in almost every situation.

If ya think you shouldn't then don't !!

You're dealing with pork....don't take any chances! Toss 'em and start over. Chalk it up as experience. I've done it myself..... Hurts the pocket book, I know. But better for it to hurt the pocket book then your body.

Sorry there is no way to save them. You will get very sick no matter how much you cook them. bacteria starts growing as soon as they hit over 41 degrees.

Cook them really well right now; then put them in the freezer for reheating later.

it would be best to go ahead and cook them instead of freezing. but throw them away if there is a foul odor on the meat.
