Already I'm tired and my head feels funny!

Hi,
IME, it can take up to a week before you get used to it (just like with Neurontin). Don't worry, the symptoms will reduce after a couple of days.

I started and am still on 25 mgs. I have to be honest I did not have any funny feeling. However I am also on Diazepam 2mg on going to bed with the Lyrica. I started at 5mgs of Diazepam and failed to get out of the bed the following day. When I did make it up I felt weird! Therefore I cut it down and started taking it every other day and then built up. The Lyrica did not have this affect on me, was able to take it, feel the benefit, no problems.

It depends on how high a dose you are aiming for. My doctor waited 2 weeks before increasing my doses. The higher the dose the worse the side effects were. I finally couldn't stand it any more and tapered off.

When I took Lyrica it only took me a day or two to get used to it. It is a faily mild med.
