this is a rather funny post.
in reading the answers, the women are not offended at you at all, and most seem to be laughing at you for your ignorance.

For that reason I will post a response to you. First, you are taking something from the book of genesis and twisting it like people with unstable minds do with other bible verses. (see other questions for a full array of unstable humans and their folly).

Next, you are making a blanket statement which does not hold up in light of revelation, you write, you must have done some awful things for god to punish......

define your terms. awful. awful means to inspire awe, to do wonderful things that are beyond words. So you are saying because women do wonderful things god punishes? That too is against biblical revelation, but I don't think you would know that.

i'm guessing that if a woman is in your life, it is because either you hide the fact that you are not very sharp by keeping your mouth shut, or there is no woman.

the concept you suggest, men are the chosen ones holds only one application biblically. and that is accountability before Christ Jesus on the day of judgment. They are the chosen ones to account for the family and the salvation the wife and children enjoy or lose. (bet that isn't taught where you go to church)....oh you don't go to church, well that explains the second statement, no biblical training.

and you too shall stand in judgment for twisting this scripture too, I suggest you repent, for you will stand before the LORD God and give account of your words

I don't believe men to be the chosen ones. Women have the experience of giving life to another being. Men just grunt, plant the seed, and roll over and snore, their job is done.
A woman has to go thru nine months of growing larger, aches, pains, swelling, on top of that, making sure the man has dinner on the table, his clothes are washed, and the house cleaned. (Incidently guys, that is not a form of exercise).
After the nine months, she has to endure the pain of childbirth, unless she has an epidural, and spends 20 hours in the delivery room, sweating, pushing, breathing hard, and then the child is born. Before collapsing from exhaustion, she gets to hold the child for a mnute or two, and then it's whisked off to be cleaned and checked.
The MAN, then is given the child to show off to his family, with a goofey, but proud look on his face, saying "look what I created!!" The woman is sleeping.
Jump ahead a month, in the middle of the night, the baby cries and it's usually the woman who has to tend to it, because the MAN talked her into breast feeding. While he's off at work, the house, and clothes need cleaning, dinner needs to be done, and the child is crying wanting to be fed, changed, or just held.
Yes, some MEN do help out, and bravo to them, but a majority help just a little.
Put the woman back on the pedastil, and worship her, she is not a slave, and not a breeding factory!! As to making God angry? She bestowed a wonderful gift to the women. The gift of giving life. Remeber this, in certain species, when there are no males, the female reproduces asexually, so MEN, we may not really be needed.

Women have two x-chromosomes. The x-chromosome is longer, containing more genetic material, than the y-chromosome. This is why men are far more susceptible to hereditary diseases than women.

Every living thing that has gender starts out female. Males are created in the womb due to hormonal effects.

If every man on Earth died tonight, women could repopulate the species (with, I'll grant, some help from technology). If every woman died tonight, good bye human race.

I was there, it didn't look so bad, I reckon doing the ligaments in my knee was worse. Anyway, post-birth, the womans body produces a chemical to make them forget the pain. I had bad dreams about my knee pain for months.

no you see you have got that all wrong! the reason why women are giving child birth is because men are to wimpy to handle it! the pain is real but the reward is sweet!

It did hurt but as soon as that sweet baby boy was placed in my arms I forgot the pain. It was Eve who ate the fruit. And don't forget that you have to work because Adam ate the fruit. Re-read your Bible!

I think we are all chosen ones. After all it takes two to tango...and that tango of the two brings life...not just one person. Therefore male and female are equal to me entirely...after all...we are all human and all apart of Nature.
