There's a few possibilities here.
1. Maybe you are not a believer, so how do you expect to have an intimate relationship with God when you haven't been connected by Jesus Christ?
2. Maybe you are a believer, but there is sin in your life and God is 'keeping his distance' so to speak. You need to sort out that sin in your life which is affecting your relationship with God.
3. You are an impatient person. You want quick answers, like instant coffee. Gooooooddddd! answer me! - just like a spoilt child. You need to see who's in charge: it's not you, and God is not your servant. God is not like Rover - here Rover, come and fetch! Bring it to me, Rover!
If No.3 is you, you need to get to know better what God is really like. He does things in HIS time. He answers in HIS time. If he doesn't answer at all - well, he doesn't have to, does he? Know any scriptures about waiting on the Lord? They're mostly in Psalms. Maybe you're wanting an answer and he's wanting to teach you something.
One thing you can be sure of, God has heard. The other thing is, if you earnestly seek, he WILL answer most things, sooner or later. Only, it may take a lifetime.
Makes me wonder what you're praying about. There's a lot of answers in the Bible. Maybe you need to look in there. It does not please God when his people neglect his Word. Also, If you're 'out of sorts' with scripture, how're you going to judge what spirit it is when you DO get answers?

It could be a number of things
your service provider isn't very good (Try going to church)
Roaming (you need to find your way and get closer to God before you'll get through)
You have the wrong number
God is screening your prayers
I disliked the movie but Evan Almighty actually had one line of good advice: "If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does he give them opportunities to love each other?"

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

You have confused AT&T with the God of the Universe. Put down the phone and get on your knees.
