I've ever hospitalized for a week at the hospital, and all I can eat are those porridge and soup, plain taste and same smell as the wrapping plastic that they use to cover the food...yuck!
And the fact that they always check on you early in the morning when you're still asleep after strugling to stay asleep for long time,
And the boredom.
And not to forget the needles, the pills that come every hour, .....and the infuse bag that I need to carry everywhere.
....so stay healthy!!

Yes, the smell is bad, but I actually hate everything about hospitals. I feel bad about the people in there.

I agree with you.
I also hate it when you have to stay in the hospital all day long and the only time that you got to move around is when you go to the toilet.

I hate the lack of privacy. It is impossible to really rest in a hospital. Too much chance of gaining an infection you didn't come in with, too.

Well since I don't nurse IN a hospital...LOL...I hate the nosocomial infections (infections acquired in the hospitals) my patients acquire in the hospital from the nurses and other personnel not washing their hands.

The smell is the worst by far, followed closely by the food.

I hate it when you are in the hospital and they wake you up to see how you are feeling.

The smell for me too. I'm not certain its a sterile smell....it's certainly gross, a stale combination of smells.

The smell is just sani-tan. If it bothers you that much, spritz a hanky with lemon or orange oil and keep it in your pocket.

the stupid people that they call nurses that have no clue what they are doing. Or them not looking at the chart to see what you are allergic to, just to expose you to that very thing. Or the infections that you end up getting even though you are there to get better and not worse.
