There are three earth ages.
Read II Peter 3:5-8

"For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old (ancient, millions of years), and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
(different earth - shells found on hilltops, other variations, remains of dinosaur bones etc.)
3:6
Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: (destruction of 1st earth age (dinosaur, shells in this)
3:7
But the heavens and the earth which are now,
(the earth you live in) by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgement and perdition of ungodly men.
(day of judgement to come in the 3rd earth age, after Jesus returns at the 7th trump)

Not the flood of Noah, but the destruction of the 1st earth age when dinosaurs lived on earth

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (creation is positive)

A Space in the Bible indicates Satan's rebellion with 1/3rd of the angels and destruction of the 1st earth age

Gen 1:2 And the earth was (became) without form, and void
Since the rebellion, God shook the earth, turned it on its axis, hence we have now have storms and unpleasant weather at times.
God destroyed His perfect creation of Gen 1:1,
recreated it in Gen 1:3 - on
All of the angels plus those angels who rebelled with Satan, are given another chance by being born of water (mom's bag of water in uterus) and spirit into this the 2nd earth age that we live in presently. They are here to chose between good and evil and to give God pleasure.
Angel is just another word for man, or messenger.
Hope this helps

At one point almost the entire earth was covered with water, but it wasn't from the Genesis flood. This is why you will find sea shells on top of mountains. A worldwide flood never occurred because of God's wrath. The flood in Genesis was made up as a convenient way to show and trace back the lineage of Abraham. This task was impossible for biblical scribes (tracing lineage), so they came up with the flood.

genesis flood ,NO. but that that ocean was once there. a flood is not long enough time for crustaceans to travel in 40 days. it is said that the earth was once all covered with water.
