Problem with 2001 Dodge Ram Quad door, I cannot get my back quad door to open on passenger side to open,?

pulling the handle only seems to release the top of the door, I have checked the front automatic door lock and it seems fine, please help

The problem you are having is the linkage inside isn't unlatching the door.. You will have to remove the door panel from the inside to unlock the door. Once you get it open and the panel off, you can see the problem. I believe Dodge has a fix (bulletin) for this problem.

The lower latch remote rod(connection) has probably come loose from the door handle. You've got to take the inside door panel off to access the inside of the door...replace the rod retaining clip & hook it up
