Keep using the drops.
Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands.
Make sure everything you've touched prior to the drops is clean.
Talk to your doc if you want, but it just needs time. It's only been a few days. If you had a cut that was infected or an ear infection, you wouldn't expect it to heal up the next day would you?
PS Penguin, sounds like you don't know a whole lot on the topics which you are answering. Duh it's infected. Pink eye is usually caused by a viral infection.

The worse thing about treating pink eye is reinfectation. It can spread so easily. Remember to wash your pillow case, and change it every night, your wash cloth and anything else that comes in contact with your eye should be either bleached or washed in very very hot water. Use the drops as directed, and try to keep your fingers away from your face. Wash your hands constantly. There really is no cure, except for the drops, so making sure you don't reinfect is the best way to go.

If it has spread to your other eye then you will need to treat that eye as well. Wash your hands alot! and stop rubbing your eyes!! My kids get it from time to time and it usually takes about a week for real improvements, however they usually have some improvements in only a few days. You may need a different antibiotic drop. Make sure you follow the directions and use the drops for the amount of time the doc said to prevent reinfection.

Use those drops in your left eye too. Wash, wash, wash your hands. Anything you could have used and touched BEFORE getting your drops sterilze it. Also, you may want to call your doc because there are a few meds for pink eye. And something else to consider - pink eye, which is also called conjunctivitis could also be an allergic reaction.

You need to call your doctor and let him know it's gettng worse. Don't let this scare you but, if not treated, it can worsen and become something much more dangerous called periorbital cellulitis. My son got this after having pink eye as an infant (10 months old) and had a fever of 105 and his eye swelled up to the size of a golf ball. He had to be hospitalized for over a week. It can cause loss of vision and can spread to the brain if left untreated.

If you have been using it AS DIRECTED since friday [ four days ] with little or no improvement, call the doc. Your symptoms should be a lot better by two -three days.
Don't wait.
You may [ probably ] need a different medication.

Is your doctor a general family practicioner? If so and the signs and symptoms don't go away after a few more days even with the medication, try asking him/her to refer you to an ophthalmologist?
