I don't know we will have to swab it and send it off to the lab, what time can you come in for the swab?

99% most likely no. I am sure it's either that a pimple, ingrown hair or other 'bite' or something. Make sure you wash your hands - and apply a little antibiotic ointment to it.
If it gets worse, swollen or painful call your MD otherwise I bet it clears up in a few days - staph generally attacks an open wound - or cut (bite) so if it just appeared it's likely just what you describe (a pimple).

I don't think so.
MRSA is an open sore that gets infected.
I would call your Dr. to make sure.
I work in a hosptial and believe me, we all wonder about it.

It is probably a spider bite (yes they do bite occasionally). They love biting at the knuckle area.

its properly a boil , salt water is OK to fix it .
