I have not had my opinion on my belief system changed.
But I do learn things on here, which sometimes astounds me
on how others behave.
It has made me grateful that I have a strong faith and sad that others can be so bitter towards each other.
People surprise me on here so I suppose you could say that Y/A is a new tool for learning of others attitudes and beliefs.

I completely agree. it is amazingly real. each and every now and then, even the best solutions (identifying on a best answer is each and every now and then very subjective) don't get chosen as best and as a substitute, the guy who asked the question selections the main boring and least finished answer merely because of the fact the respond suits their own view approximately issues (distinctly interior the religion and Spirituality area) and he/she would not even elect to confirm something that contradicts the way he/she thinks. In different words, varied human beings ask questions that are actually not questions yet they unquestionably elect to tutor the worldwide their own view. in my view, the R&S area of YA by no ability made me replace my strategies. it is very the different it is happening. The extra I study fundamentalist Christians' solutions, the extra confident i'm that i don't have something to do with those human beings and that atheism is the astounding way. From different sections like the activities area or the parenting area, nonetheless, I have been given some stable solutions that I considered and that i picked them as best solutions.

Changing my opinion is always my prerogative, so no, I never 'had' one changed, and I don't think I ever will. I have, however, changed my own opinions from time to time. I like to keep my options available. That's probably the reason I never got married...lol
And no, I don't believe in evangelism, or the concept of 'winning' souls, as it would certainly contradict what I have stated above, and I don't like the idea of forcing my opinion on someone else, and I don't tolerate it from others, either.
I prefer to possess my own soul, thank you.

My "opinions" are beliefs, facts which will never change - a truth which GOD has placed on my heart beyond every shadow of any doubt, which anyone can share if they will but take that first tiny step of faith.
I have however learned a great deal about the unbelievers; about their pride, their arrogance, their refusal to believe in the one true GOD because then that means they can't be god.
I have learned about their ridicule and scorn; their hatred and emptiness and hypocrisy; I have learned to pity the unbeliever - the one who says I am in bondage because they can't see their own chains, the one who says I am brain-washed because the devil has convinced them he doesn't exist.
Yes I have learned alot from Yahoo Answers. And most of it not very pleasant.

I've received new evidence that changed my knowledge of a person or events, but it did nothing to change my atheism.

While I have not had any of my opinions changed,as such,it has caused me to rethink why I hold the opinions I do,and to perhaps fine tune them.
