I'm 16 years old. I've had sex with three different guys. All of them happen to be clean. We didn't use condoms while having sex. A week before my period my vagina starts to itch and i get these discharges which are cottage-cheese like. I do not normally have these kinds of discharges. I washed my genital area with warm water and feminine wash. My itching and discharge have gone away. I've recently had my period. It's been two weeks since i've had those discharges. Did i contract any kind of STD? pls. help!

Do you know for a FACT they are clean of STDs or did they just tell you they were "clean"? Where you there when they got tested for STDs?

Some people don't think they have a STD because most STDs have no signs or symptoms. They will tell someone they don't have one, even though they do and are just unaware of it. Also, there is NO test to detect HPV in men, so it's basically impossible for men to know if they have HPV or not. Most men find out they have HPV by developing genital warts, but not everyone with HPV will develop genital warts!

The second guy I ever slept with said he was "clean" and now I have two incurable diseases from having sex with him.

The only person you can trust is yourself. Don't trust guys who say they are "clean". It might be true, but what if it's not? You could end up with a deadly STD or even become pregnant. Is it really worth the risk? ALWAYS use condoms if you are going to have sex.

"Cottage cheese" discharge is a sign of a yeast infection, which is NOT a STD. It is an imbalance of the "good" bacteria and the "bad" bateria which are BOTH naturally found in the vagina. Yeast infections can go away on their own, but often need to be treated with medication. Monistat cream is available over the counter and there are also prescription medications available with a prescription from your doctor.

I would HIGHLY suggest you get tested for STDs and get a pap smear done. A pap smear can detect any abnormalities on the cervix caused by HPV which can lead to cervical cancer.

Good luck to you and stay safe!

first of all, your 16 and shouldnt be sleeping with that many guys. second of all, if your going to there are things called condoms. use them. and third, the only and I mean ONLY way to know these guys are clean or not, is if you actually go into the doctors office with them, and get the test results. not many young boys are smart enough to even know they have an STD. as to your discharge, doesnt sound to much like an STD, they dont just go away with soap and water. I would go to the doctor and get a pap done.

Could have been Clamydia, but usually that doesn't go away with washing. Need prescription for that. Could have been slight imbalance of yeast or bacteria - not too big of a deal.

But to answer your question - yes you can get very bad STD's if a guy *looks* clean and you dont use a condom. HPV - warts or cervical cancer or both - is highly contagious and 70-80% of people have it. There is NO test for guys, so they may say they have been tested and are clean - but clean for other testable things. There is NO way you can tell if a guy has them besides actual warts. He might have it and not show it. And that would suck. Also, herpes doesnt have to be visible to get that either.

Definately use condoms. Don't play russian roulettes with penises.

how do you know for sure these guys are clean. you CAN contract an STD orr STI even if they give you oral. get an STD test done to be safe and use condoms. the next time you are itchy down there, get a swab test done by your doctor. you can contract other things besides HIV.

First , GO TO THE DOCTOR and GET TESTED>>>>>TODAY!!!! second , just because some looks and smells clean does not mean they are not infected with HIV .If you are mature enough to be having sex, you are old enough to be educated in how to stay alive with the knowledge of what to do in these situations. After you go to the DOCTOR, go to a pharmacy and purchase CONDOMS!!!!

Being "clean" isn't an indication that a person can't have an STD, it only shows that they care to practice good hygiene. You could have contracted an STD and should see your doctor.

Cheesy discharges? Sounds like a yeast infection. Are you sure the boys you bumped uglies with are disease-free?

You're just dumb. Why would you not use condoms? Sometimes it takes getting something to teach ppl lessons. I hope u don't have anything, but u need to start being smarter.

The discharge does sound like yeast, you should see your doctor for medication. Remember this...you sleep with one guy, you are sleeping with every partner that guy has ever had, and every partner she ever had, and so on and so on..
