You have to see it to believe it. One moved into my town not long ago and I was blown away with the commercialism of it. Everything is over the top and gaudy, not Godly. Huge building, spot lights, flyers, even their logo is commercial. It's a little scary and It feels like a cult in the making to me. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with it.

They probably do teach the Bible and about Christ, but then again, do did Jim Jones.

Religions and their temples, what a waste. We had a church go up in very small town near here everyone jokingly refers to as the house that God built, because only he could afford it. It can seat 1200 people, half the towns population and yet there are only a half dozen cars out front on Sunday. It was built with money willed by an area rancher with no family. It was his "Field of Dreams", he built it and no one came. What a waste. RScott

All religions are creepy to me.
Next time you think your religion is being censored or that secular people are trying to take God out of America, try thinking about how you feel about this new church and ask yourself if you would be comfortable with them telling you what religion to practice.
Now do you see how the rest of us feel?
