Okay, so I have like a tight feeling in my chest and my breathing like... wheezes. My chest kinda feels like it needs to "pop?" and when I run sometimes I lose my breath really bad. But when I am breathing it makes a faint wheezing sound, but I could just be sitting around and it will get the tight chest and wheezy breathing...
Any doctors in the house?
I'm not even joking... I thought I was gonna die last night.

14 year old female, with audible musical tones, and tight feelings in chest, short of breath, especially when running, feelings of death.......
Ok, first a bit of common sense that needs some reinforcement-
your breathing is NOT normal....
Duh! right?
So, why aren't you talking to an adult???
That I just don't understand....
When your breathing is not normal, and you can show that it is not normal, you need to get yourself to an adult who can evaluate your lungs. Usually a parent is firstline in the "evaluating adults", but the real one you need is one called " Doctor"...preferably with the initials "MD" after his name.....
Ok, now, your chest has this "tight feeling"...You have wheezes, and don't even get started running, cuz it just ain't gonna happen...
These are classic signs that you may have asthma.
So, what do you need to relieve the wheezes and get you breathing normal.....?
You gonna need to get diagnosed. Doctors tend to do this thing called "diagnosing"..And most good ones will do it usually with a pulmonary function test and a nebulizer.
And yes, it's not puffers, but a nebulizer with Albuterol that needs to be given to you....It will open you up better than a puffer...
And you need to get that asthma under control. So, go see the doctor...He can fix you up...

at 14 it is more likely to be asthma than other problems, but either way, you need to get a good checkup by a lung specialist. The only thing you don't say is if you have had this a long time, or if it just started out of the blue. If you have had it for a while, get you parents to set up a doc appointment. If it just started, or seems to be getting worse quickly, you need to be seen right away.
The good news about asthma is that there are some pretty good treatments out there now. Inhalers to "rescue" you from a severe attack, and inhaled steroids that help keep you from having an attack. Also, most kids seem to outgrow mild asthma in the middle to late teens, then it may or may not come back. I suffer from asthma, and have since a child. I led a full life, participating in long distance running, swimming competition, football, law enforcement etc. I just have to manage it with my inhalers etc.
Good luck, let us know what it turns out to be.

To me that really sounds like asthma. I've got it and those are definitely the signs of asthma. However how long has it been going on for? Because if it's just one/two days then it might not be because that happened to my brother but he just had an asthma attack and now 4 years on he's fine and hasn't been diagnosed with it or anything. So if it carries on I would definitely see a doctor because you can die if the asthma is not treated. If it is treated then there is no danger of you dieing so don't worry.
Good luck =D

you need to see a doctor. they have puffers, etc. that will help open up your airways and make things a lot more comfortable for you.
