Note: John is the only "verily, verily" gospel account,
which allegorically compares two "contrary" things;
For mixing of contrary things makes an oxy-moron.

So my question is John 3:16 -or- John 3:17 for you?

John 3:16 Law & Son Limited: Destructive, Sacrifice-all
John 3:17 Grace & Son Unlimited: Constructive, Merciful

Pst: Either make the tree good(grace) OR corrupt(law).

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:17
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn (law) the world; but that the world through him might be saved (graced).

It's not nearly as obvious, but if you really 'think' about it:
John 1:1 - LAW (Word)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:2 - GRACE (Word)
The same was in the beginning with God.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

OK, it's not traditional law-ology;
But hey, such t l is getting very Old,
So old & Faulty it's ready to vanish.
Hmmm, isn't dead sea vanish-ing.

Law: right standing for V-anish?
Grace: right seated for V-ictory?

You cannot separate the God of John 3:16 from the God of John 3:17.

The same one true God of Abraham is described in both verses.

God is:
+ Law and Grace
+ Just and Merciful
+ Judgment and Forgiveness
+ A paradox to our puny human minds

With love in Christ.

Say what?!

You assume that 3:16 and 3:17 of John contrary because...?

The law produces sins. Sins creates a barrier between man and God. Jesus is the way, the door, thru him that the world may be saved. I thought Apostle Paul already explained this?

3:16 and 3:17 of John talks about the grace of God. If you see a contradiction, you failed to show it.
