Some how, I messed up Internet Explorer so that when I print a page I get all of the underlying print format codes, and lots of them! (I am not talking about the occasional codes for quote signs and ampersands). I am talking about all of the many format codes ie indents, type size, etc. etc. Help please!

I see now that these codes are called "source codes" and can be seen by clicking view, then source. My question still is: how can I stop printing them. Thanks.

The answers so far aren't "on it." I am not looking to drag and drop. (Actually, the PC I messed up is my elderly father's: he ain't gunna drag and drop nothing!) Instead I am trying to return Internet Explorer back to normal printing. I've (apparently) changed some parameter that causes it to print all of the source code! So, I guess I am looking to tweak a setting somewhere. Thanks in advance. Dad's a-waiting!

use the print screen button on your keyboard, and then rite paste this any of the software by which you can edit the page like "PAINT". then u can take the print out in whatever format you want. if you r using laptop then use your "fn" key to use print screen facility. gud luck :)

I don't print a web page. It waste to much paper and ink - especially color.

I open a Word document.
I select and copy the URL, and paste it at the top of the document.
Then I select the text or graphics I want, copy, paste.
