My husband is thin, and has no tonsils... Sadly, he still snores. Some people just snore.
One thing I have noticed is my husband only snores when he is sleeping on his back. When he wakes me up with the snoring, all I have to do is tell him to turn over, and POOF! Relief at last, lol.
Maybe you should try to get him to sleep on his side.

No, tonsillectomy won't help. Snoring can be a sign of a serious problem-sleep apnea.
Losing weight, exercise, can help reduce snoring, but even skinny people snore if they have sleep apnea. See a doctor and they should send him to a sleep clinic to be tested. This is a serious condition and he may need a CPAP machine to keep him breathing through the night.

ok, u need to visit a dermatologist, acne all over your body is not normal, maybe is an allergy of some sort or even a disease. if it is acne here is what you can do: 1 do not put lotion or any kind of oil in your body, this will increase the amount of acne 2 get in a hot shower, this would open your skin pores and then put on the medicine your doctor recommended and the medicine would get absorbed faster 3 this sounds a little gross but: you can pop ur acne, nothing is gonna happen to your skin, believe me, i have done it a million times and people say i have really soft skin. 4 let your skin breathe: wear short shorts and short sleeve shirts when you are at home, do not wear socks and when you go to sleep, consider something light, sleep in your underwear 5 take in sunlight and some vitamins and minerals that help your skin 6. wash your face frequently of when you feel your skin greasy, if you don't have a place to wash it (say u r in public), use a napkin to wipe out the oil or buy those things that remove oil 7 damp your face with hot water and then use towel with sea salt and rub it in your face (not around your eyes). 8 smashed avocado as a facial cream will hydrate your skin, but it'll make it a little greasy, u can use cucumbers around your eyes 9 go to spa and use the mud treatment, they will put mud in your face and your skin will feel really soft 10 buy neutrogena and READ THE DIRECTIONS i still recommend that you go see a dermatologist and he can recommend you something

Not really because I still snore. You probably should get him a CPAP Machine. These are very expensive if you don't have insurance though. I have used the breathe right strips before and they help with the snoring but it does not eliminate it altogether though. Check with his doctor, and if possible get him to go to a sleep lab to make sure he doesn't have sleep apnea.

No, snoring is done through one's nasal passages, so fixing his tonsils won't do any good to my knowledge. I'm not a doctor though. Have you tried those little sleep bandages one puts on their nose? Has he been tested for sleep apnea? Sometimes snoring that's loud is caused by something far more serious than being overweight. I hope he's seen a doctor about it.

May try some of those breathing aid strips that goes over the nose. May try a nasal spray too? And have him sleep on his side with a pillow on each side so it is harder to roll over.
