You should see a regular doctor...I dont think a gynecologist will be able to help you with anal problems. A doctor will take a look at it right away, and determine what it is. Then you will get the antibiotic and you will be set to go! Good luck and hope everything gets better!

definitely see a regular doctor, a gyno is for female genital health, this is ur anus and that the GP can take care of.
I would suggest the sooner the better. No need to be embarrassed.

anal irritations are nine times out of ten caused by hemmorhoids, you can see your regular doctor about this, they deal with such things all the time.

you can see your family physician first and he or she will refer you to the gynecologist if necessary. It is important to have it checked out though
