Since you are in the vegetarian section, I'll assume that you don't make a habit of eating meat, so I'll give you a little lesson that my vegetarian daughter and I learned the hard way.

Check the ingredient list on the Caesar salad dressing. I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but almost all Caesar salad dressing contains meat (in the form of anchovy paste).

Just thought you'd like to know.

Dole salad kits are good if you only want a few servings.Look the bags over and pick a bag that the lettuce looks very fresh-no brown edges or white dried looking pieces.Check the expiration date on the front of the bag also.

I think they're OK in a pinch. Otherwise I pick up the bags of mixed greens and my own bottle of dressing. There's better Caesar than what comes with the kit. That's just my opinion.

You would be better off getting some romaine lettuce from Earthbound Farms, a bottle of Annie's Organic Ceasar Dressing and some organic parmesan cheese.
