No. Pap smears ONLY detect abnormal cells on the cervix which are usually caused by HPV, but can also be caused by other things.

A Pap smear swab of the cervix that is prepared on a slide. the sample is viewed under a microscope to look for cellular abnormalities that are indicative of cancer.

yes, You have to ask your Dr for std test. He or she will test you for chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis not Hiv .
