It isn't "okay" at any age. It stinks and it is a hard habit to break.

I started smoking when I was 15. I am 21 now and regret it every single stinkin day.

Not to mention to many people it is a huge turn off.

If you haven't started yet, please don't. It isn't worth the coughing, the extra perfume to cover up the smell, the money... It just isn't worth it.

No take it from me I have COPD and most of it is from smoking. If you don't mind carrying a oxygen bottle every where you go , be on 5 different medication not being able to go any where without help wake up at night gasping for air then I guess it's ok.If your around cigarettes and some one tell you that your going to die from something any way it's time you chose a different crowd,Some one that uses drugs will say the same thing.Got to go now have to make sure I have my home oxygen set up for tonight

No - the younger you are when you start the worse the addiction and the more you will smoke. Also it would be harder to quit.
The biggest problems starting young that you would notice would be increased acne (you skin never stays clean), yellowish tinges to your lips, fingers and teeth, and there is also a good chance your get wrinkles before 20.
However, if you think it's all worth it it's ultimatley up to you

Nicotine is more addicting than heroine. STAY AWAY from it.
It can destroy your life and the lives of those around you. There is nothing cool about doing something damaging to your body along with the fact that it is costly, smelly, & offensive. My step-mother has lung cancer from years of smoking (I'm sure she didn't thing she'd become addicted when she started years ago) and she STILL can't quit. Sure you can later pay for expensive programs to help you quit but why start in the first place? TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. You only get one body to last a long time!

Sure it's OK, if you want to suffer later in life with chronic lung problems and have trouble breathing, and die at a young age. Not to mention having to carry oxygen with you.
I saw a friend of mine die in the hospital because he had been a heavy smoker all his life. It is something I will never forget, watching him labor for his breath as he was dieing.
Please do not start.

No smoking is never ok no matter what your age. It damages your lungs and respiratory system and causes premature skin aging and wrinkles. If you have never seen a person with end stage lung disease like COPD etc I suggest you find one and watch them starve for air even though they have oxygen running all the time. It is not a pretty site.

Listen to morgon o and the others, and be aware that there are many amputees who have had legs cut off through smoking related illness, I knew five such people, three now dead, I would like to see more emphasis on the risk of losing your limbs attributed to smoking.

Yes, i think the diseases and crap are worth it, ya know, i dont wanna live past 60 anyway. Ok, you've got 1 life you can either be the person who lives a comfortable safe life (but who can still die young!) or you can be someone who lives life all-or-nothing, you know, noone ever says this but you can smoke all your life and live to 100, granted chances are slimmer but **** it, odds are if its not death by smoking, it's death by a million other things.

P.s. I wrote all this extra crap cuz noones agreeing with me (thought id make a stronger arguement, hehe)
