Anyone know where I can found tofu and how its classified as in the store?

Tofu is in the refrigerated section near produce, and there are usually aseptic boxes in the natural/organic/health food aisle.

The Whole Foods I shop at has it in the refrigerator case. So does the local Trader Joe's. However, at Trader Joe's, the refrigerator case is often near the small produce section. That's for the Chinese tofu, the kind you use for stir-fry.

Silken tofu, which is in the aseptic boxes is for puddings, sauces, creamy dishes, and you can find that in the Asian foods section.

It's in the produce section, usually with other vegetarian foods (burgers and veggie dogs). It comes in a little plastic tub, check the expiration date! If you live near Trader Joe's they have the best firm tofu for 99 cents a pound.

I've always found it near the produce section, usually in an area or a case specifically set aside for vegan/ natural foods.

If you have an oriental supermarket near you, the chances are they will have soft or hard tofu in stock. If you can't find it, just ask.

Its usually kept in the produce section. Most of the time its with the Asian items such as wanton wrappers and kimchi

You can find it in an Asian grocery store for sure. In the cold section where the won-ton wrappers or soya milk are.
