I have been having chest pain - for over two weeks now.
I would just get this pressure in my chest and stop and say "wow, I am having chest pain" then it woke me up and was running down my left arm - so I went to my MD and had an EKG (my heart rate was high) so I was admitted to the ER
I had some elevations so they wanted to rule out a blockage.
Long story short and some days in the hospital and no heart 'complications' my 99.9 fever - is inflammation around my heart.
It's just a virus - (I am 39) I have had strep a few times
but they can't justify the reason - = no fun and a lot of discomfort - (I am also on a beta blocker for the high heart rate).. it's a virus so it's tough to say but if you do get strep get treated - asap -
