I heard of a Hammond organ, but I never heard of a Hammond cheese sandwich.

Hm, I live in Hammond, and never heard of that kind of sandwich. What's in it besides cheese?
You could always make a vegan cheese with fake ham sandwich... I've done it just for fun once.

If you are vegan you can't eat ham, or cheese or the mayo if there is some because there's egg in it. If youare vegitarian you just can't eat the ham. If you are vegitarian or vegan tell your friend.
Good vegan alternative:
sandwich with veggies like avocado, lettuce, cucumber, soy cheese (check to see it's vegan) and mustard.
Good Vegitarian Alternitive:
Cheese sandwhich with mayo and veggies.
Oldie But Goodie:
Peanut butter and jam always works.
