Why do humans beings for heaven sake want to maltreat their dogs and dock their tail or ears? Suppose people would do this to you? God made our pets and he created the animals and if he had thought their tails or ears should have an other shape, he would have created them that way!!! Dogs NEED their ears and their tail in the way they are shaped!
Why are you doing this to your pet, cannot you think yourself or are you just following some stupid fashion?
Anyway if you want to have it done absolutely, go to a vet.
Don't do this to your pet, he is your friend.

Tails are docked at 3-5 days old, after that it is a surgery and your vet must do it.

Too old&it is cruel.it is illegal in many countries. It causes them extreme pain
The basic nervous system of a dog is fully developed at birth and the available evidence indicates that puppies have similar, if not increased, sensitivity to pain as adult dogs. Docking a puppy's tail involves cutting through muscles, tendons, up to seven pairs of highly sensitive nerves and severing bone and cartilage connections. Tail docking is usually carried out without any anaesthesia. dogs are ment to have tails! only a vet can do it under anaesthesia.

Tail docking must be done NO LATER than 3 days of age.
Her bones and nerves are too developed now, it would be an extremely painful amputation.
Just enjoy your puppy the way she is, she's not asking you to cut off any body parts to be her friend!

only a vet can do it, she will have to go under anaesthetic, if you do it yourself you risk sending the dog into shock and loosing the dog, tails are generally docked at 3 days old. and should always be done by a vet

Yes, but like many said, you must go to a vet as it is considered surgery at any age over 3 days old. And as far as it being against nature... nature and/or God did not create the boxer, people did., so I guess it stands to reason that people dictate how it should look.

If nature didn't design it with a short tail why would you want to give it one?

this is illegal in most countries for a reason!!
any GOOD vet will refuse to do it.
docking a dogs tail is like worse than cutting your finger off.
not only can they have permanent pain, spinal and gait/walking problems in the long term, but it also affects their ability to go to the toilet.
dont mutilate your dog.
