I'm learning French and I've heard a T.V. called "television" and also "televiseur". What do they both mean?

ps sorry for the missing accents, my alt codes aren't working.

Télévision is the whole concept of television; téléviseur is just the television set. What's on TV tonight? - use the first one; I'm going to buy a new TV tomorrow - use the second.

It's the same thing,
