The fact is you are always in prayer. Every thought and every word is creative in your world. They are prayers before God.
The ritual of formal prayer is practice for us to develop the right thoughts and words. Not just when we practice prayer or when we focus on a need or desire to ask God, but with all thoughts and words.
We are told that we have to give an account for every idle word because those words are just as creative before God as the ones we practice as ritual prayer.
Think before you speak. Train your thinking. Then your words will follow suit.

We pray for lots of reasons!1, Honor God,2.Praise God, 3. Thank God, 4. Petition God, 5. Worship God, 6. Glorify God, I could just go on and on. One can't give Give God enough honor, praise, or glory.

What do u do when u love someone? you interact with the person take care of the person and are constantly remembering teh person in some way or the other. Isn't it?
praying to God is the same.
I love God and hence am in communication with God.
people refer to it as praying.

I don't exactly think that people should just pray...
Since God is our Father, why not just tell him about what is going on...
I tell my folks....!!!
Praying isn't always about getting what you need, its for guidance, and to have a relationship...
Never should prayer be based on fear, or anything like that...

At times it can be unitentional or 'just like that' prayer with no reason......but to pray GOD means to communicate with yourSELF (where self stands for soul,spirit,GOD) that creates a SELF - belief.

may be that we feel fresh and will enjoy the next moment of our life. generally if we are happy we say god or some thing which denotes god at the same time if we are depressed we cal and scold him. it is just to take out our preasure and make us relief and n-joy the moment. i think so

There is no reason of need .god does not expect anything in return for what he is doing eternally to the world . It is not fair to insult god and to portray god as one who gives Alms to a beggar expecting something in return from him. God is performing his duty and do t bother him.
He created you not because you asked him to create you or at your request .So it is his duty to take care of you.and this He does perfectly well .We would do better not to fight in HIS name under the pretence of being faithful to HIM.Leave god alone so as to enable HIM to continue to perform his duty undisturbed .

We pray to god for many reasons.It can be for saying thanks for everything got in life, or for saying sorry of all the misdeeds,or praying to get something.
