yeah it would be. Even if you boiled it, that is crazy. Hot Pepsi, Yuck!!

It depends as to why you are boiling it......It actually makes an excellent method of cooking some meats in particular ham, as when it reduces to a sweet syrup it coats the meat with a unique and very sweet tasty flavour. you can of course add other ingredients/ spices to the mix .
Sounds awful but honestly tastes lovely

Makes a good grease dissolve! or drain cleaner, if you have dirty driveway to clean not really drinkable? becomes flavorless? and a little dry tasting now you can heat it up a little like Dr. Pepper and add to schnapps as a hot Toddy
