It may sound strange but I need to find things like;
- Percentage of couple in the UK who have children
- Percentage of couples who cant have children in the UK
- Population of the UK
etc.

The government do a Census every 10 years (as you know) and then spend the next 10 years crunching the numbers at a huge office in Newport, South Wales.
A lot of this information is made available free on:
www.statistics.gov.uk
If you go there, on the front page you'll see boxes - one says - 'Population / National Projections.' It has stuff on childbirth, fertility, life expectancy, etc.

The UK government publish statistics on all kinds of things including population - it can be found at -

They even break population down into the four seperate areas - england - wales - scotland - N ireland
