Newport Kings (Soft pack regular size, not 100 s soft pack) have a different blend of tobacco and taste different than Newport Box. It s NOT ALWAYS the exact same cigarettes in a soft pack as a box (maybe some brands are, not totally sure). But that answers a different question i suppose. "what s the difference between soft-pack and box cigarettes of (insert brand)?"

There may be a few differences. First and most obviously the hard packs help protect your cigarettes from breaking and falling out of the pack, they are also easy to bring with you because of their effecient shape. But some cigarette companies also alter the cigarettes. For example: My cigarettes are shorter and wider when in the hard pack. Good Luck!

Soft pack cigarettes wil not fit into a hard pack. They are longer by a slight bit. At least with Marlboro.

The hard pack cigarettes will kill you as fast as soft pack cigarettes. The only difference is the pack. The hard pack is for people who want the extra protection for the cigarettes so they won't get crushed as easily.

You are less likely to crush the cigarettes in a hard pack when you inadvertently sit on them.

Just exactly what it says....A soft pack is squishy like, and a hard pack is literally a box of cigarettes. They are harder than the soft pack. Both packs are the same size and have the same number of cigarettes in them, but some people just prefer one over the other.
