Hello guys! I had win XP SP2 with Media Player 9, DirectX 9.0c and AC97 supported sound card on board. whenever i was trying to open up a mp3, my computer was being freezed and i had to reset it. I changed my OS to Vista Ultimate, with Media player 11, the same hardware. by the way, i have 4 x 256 BUS 400 RAM with ATI Radeon 7000 VGA...
what do you think??? I scanned my pc with Anti-Virus Kaspersky, i updated my Vista but nothing works! my pc freezes after a few seconds whenever i open a mp3
help please :-(

Check your sound card driver. Your sound card may also be damaged due to static electricity or a power surge. Try using a different media player, such as XMPlay.

i do no longer understand if it performs movies. To reset it carry the ability button down. And to make playlists do it in residing house windows Media participant and then circulate the playlist from residing house windows Media participant.

this is a tiny program called evil player that you can test with sometimes WMP gets a bad driver and wont play so try that and if it plays get winamp or itunes
