Because nobdy does anything for him!

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR HIM?

God is not a genie in a bottle, he waiting for you to follow him, not what you want. He knows your needs and wants but seek him first and those things that you need will follow.

DO THE WILL OF GOD
You need to find a home church that preaches sound doctrine, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)

I don't think it's mad. Although maybe some people believe that they are mad because since God does not speak to them, what makes that other guy special enough to speak to God; It can't be true, therefore he must be insane.

We sane people know that God does not speak to ordinary people because God already spoken everything to the prophets of old. Those who are claiming to be speaking with God are :

1. Mentally challenge. They hear voices and believe that God speak to them.

2. Liars. They want to deceive people so as to make one of those mega-churches and earn mega-millions.

3. Delusional. They think that what their mind is dictating is God's words to them.

4. Possessed. Demons have deceived millions of people, why not deceive a million more?

5. Arrogant. They want to claim sainthood or higher spiritual place for themselves so as to be considered as beyond the reach of ordinary human being.

6. Rags to reaches pastors. I am wondering, why is it that most of those church leaders claiming to be speaking with God are pastors or ministers? I have not encountered one bible scholar claiming to be one. Are also priests less likely candidates?

I never believe in speaking with God but with experiencing God yes. You can feel God's love, mercy, grace and presence. Yes He touches your heart BUT NEVER SPEAK TO YOU LIKE WHAT MANY PASTORS ARE CLAIMING THAT THEY ARE CONVERSING WITH GOD. Is God then Oprah-like?

Because I 'hear voices in my heart' all the time, and I know full well they're a product of my own mind, and not the external voice of a supernatural being.

The human imagination is a powerful thing - just ask any schizophrenic!

That is IT... I'm glad someone else sees it! (Or doesn't see it... LOL)

If you take the preacher off the pulpit (on TV), and dress him/her in rags and placed them on a street corner in the most run-down part of town, what would you think of him/her then?? What would you think when you hear this person talking about accepting ghosts/spirits, drinking blood and eating flesh?.... about sin and damnation, about healing, about angels and demons... all the ranting and raving....

Why don't people see how nonsensical religion truly is???

I think that it is hard for people to understand who have not experienced God for themselves. They seem to see the voices people with mental issues hear in their heads as the same thing as what Christians hear in their hearts from God. I don't think you can really ever understand until you experience it for yourself, which I wish everyone could.

because Praying is when you talk to a non existent entity, which is a harmless custom, But when you start hearing the voice of a non existing entity that is a mental malfunction or at least, a damage to the ears.

just look at all the prophets in the Bible, that God spoke to and all the men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit whom wrote the scriptures. They are still remembered today.
