Not according to the Bible.
If you are a follower of Jesus, read what the Bible has to say on the subject. If you are not a follower of Jesus, then think of all the things the Christians say about not being "saved", "judgement" day and eternal damnation.

after the rapture and the true believers are taken to Heaven, there will still be people on this Earth. Those who have not accepted Jesus will be left behind, which they are not damned to eternal suffering and damnation(that is not just yet, they still have the chance to become saved). It just means that they will experience God's Holy wrath and judgment upon the unbelievers and the wicked, but Revelations does talk about people getting saved during the Great Tribulation, which means that Jesus is still offering His salvation to anyone that calls upon Him and believes, even the wicked people.
As with the Earth being repopulated, yes it will still continue(only during the Great Tribulation, the time from when Jesus returns to the time of Armageddon). I believe it was John(I forget who said it), but they said it would be better for people not to have babies during the Great Tribulation, the more people on this earth, the more people will be led astray. When satan is finally thrown into the lake of fire along with the non-believers and the judgments have been set in stone, and the New Heaven and New Earth will be in place, will people still be repopulating??
Jesus said that people "will be like the angels in Heaven" since angels do not have reproductive organs, sex is no longer needed and only a Earthly pleasure, I believe that the Earth will just have the true believers and people will not be repopulating the Earth with babies. so in the final ending of it all, YES DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION AND NO WHEN TRUE BELIEVERS WILL DWELL with God in the New Jerusalem and on the New Earth(it will not be needed),

The all the people left behind can have the biggest party because there will be no more of the former Christians left. But the world will be ruled by the Anti Christ and then only will the people see they have been deceived and there Will be so much pain and suffering that the world has never seen before. Read Revelations to get a better picture of what will happen

No one is going anywhere because heaven will be right here on earth. Those who make it will be in spiritual bodies. All flesh will go back where it came from: clay, dust, earth.
As for destroying this earth, not so. Just the elements, or the evil will be cleansed ...the earth will be restored to what is was before satan’s rebellion, which happened during the 1st earth and heaven age, dispensation, eon.

The planet we now know, in fact the entire universe will come to an end when Jesus comes back. Those who are righteous will then be placed in a new creation - new heavens (universe) and new earth where God will dwell with them. I think it will be a new kind of reality.
We don't know much about what we will become after our bodies rise again, but we know a few things that we learned in the Biblical accounts of Jesus after His resurrection. For example, we know our new bodies will be capable of going through walls, of being at two places at once, and that we still will be able to eat food if we wished to.

There is no coming back for Jesus... it will kill the man on the job for continuity... reincarnations seems more appropriate for it but for the sole existence of the second man... is evidently will be enjoying it in 'silver spoon'.
Repopulated is not an exact word for it... awakened.

When Jesus comes back and take all his followers to heaven, the change in the population on earth would be unnoticeable, for 2 reasons - He will never come back, and the number of his followers is dwindling anyway.

Since God creates a new heaven and a new Earth, and Jesus rules for 1,000 years, there would have to be people - for in the end, they once again turn their back on God when Satan is loosed for a short time.
