Hello thanks for all the advice.
Directly after i posed this question i kept crying and then after a couple of seconds i realized that my hands were getting numbish and that felling you get when you try to wake a part of you body that fell asleep because of the cut of of blood circulation. It started spreading through out my hand and stiffened it. I started getting dizzy. It was the weirds thing I've ever gone through. Later my sister heard me crying and came in. She was quite scared so she got my dad, and now the whole family is pretty much worried about me. It's never happened like this before, i do occasionally cry just for a good cry. I'm not on any medication except some iron pills. I am a freshmen in college and plan to see a school counselor.

some of my symptoms were
- loss of weight (4-6 pounds witin 2 weeks)

- poor sleeping habit (3 in the morning latest)

Thanks again.

Misery,
I know just how you feel. I went through this once -I would even wake up crying!

Counseling is important. It helps you dig up what is bothering you, and help you figure out how to solve it. You will feel better, even with the first visit, because you know you are doing something about it. Just talking to someone who understands will help, too.

Don't worry if you cry because that lets your feelings out so you can lessen the pressure of them inside. It's good for you. You don't need to hide from you sister, either. She loves you and will help you deal with what's bothering you. You would do the same thing for her, too, wouldn't you?

To review: seek counseling, don't worry, share your feelings, and know that you will soon feel better.

Has this crying upsetness been going on for longer than two weeks solid. Do you find it hard to sleep. Is your sleep bad. Are you eating too much or not at all.
These are some of the signs of depression. If you are concerned go see your doctor. Try and find out why this is happening. Is there a trigger. If so try to find ways of avoiding the driggers
All in all go see a doctor. especcially if it has been constant for over two weeks.

I think everyone does this sometimes. But if you feel like it's happening alot or having an impact on your everyday life. You need to talk to someone about it. Like a counselor or a good friend that won't judge. Sometimes it's good to cry for no reason. Just keep tabs on it and see how you feel in say a week. Good Luck.

Maybe life is not what you want it to be.
I get this way as well, but don't weep out loud.

The only advice I will give is try to stay of antidepressant drugs, but if you have to take them do so only for short periods.

Instead try to get Counseling, talk to a professional or someone trained in listening to you.

Best wishes.

Everyone feel down from time to time. Very often it can be because we feel we don't have control over our lives or because we don't live the life we are designed to live. It can even be that you eat or drink too much junk - too much sugar can make you really, really low.

sounds like you have a minor depression....

just forget it...if you went to a shrink they will charge you forever and give you horrible pills....

these things happens to all of us...
think of everything you have accomplished even if it was small...then you will get the courage to continue and do things better...

maybe from time to time we set and remember bad stuff...but for sure we are better than others who suffer to get a crumb of bread or a bite of food...or a home to hide from cold weather or peace to live freely

Sometimes people have breakdowns for no apparent reason. I'm sure the feelings will pass and everything will be back to normal. =) I hope you feel better.
If these persist, then please see a doctor. You might have depression.

You sound very normal to me.

Someone made a song on the charts in Australia.
"Why do I feel so bad".
