I think that pretty much all religions disapprove of adultery, regardless of the age of the participants. You don't say whether the guy knew she was married when he got involved with her? If he did, then they are both equally responsible! If not, then I think most people would be sympathetic towards him as having been "used". Both of them should know better if they are trying to be devout church members!

It's just terribly sad when families get broken over things like this, especially when there are children involved.

I don't think that the age of the young she messed around with matters. What she was wrong in doing is having a affair straying her marriage and family. If the church knew about this they should have addressed this matter to her. You know you never miss your water until the well runs dry. We sometimes have the best thing in the world and we'll let our own lust ruin it. I'll keep you and your family in prayer.

Hey there:.. I read your other post a couple of days ago and your really having a hard time with this..

People justify whatever they want to justify..they usually blame someone or something else.

She has a problem, and the problem isn't you, it's her.

She's feeling it, but she's not going to admit to that.

You take care of yourself..let her deal with what she may have lost with her marriage.
Even, me, as an atheist, do not agree with her actions. So you can imagine what the Christians or any other religious denomination would think..

This is between the woman and the man. It's none of your business, and it's not the churches business.

If I were a friend of the woman, though, and she talked to me about it, I'd explain to her that she needs a man for her kids, not a boy.

You are asking people to justify a womans actions by a religions standards of acceptability?

They are both of a consenting age

King David (according to Judaism/Christianity and Islam) sent a man to the front lien to die in battle just coz he saw his wife naked one day and lusted after her.

its for God to judge not us,although i wonder how a woman that age can be so blinded with love for for a boy young enough to be her son, that she is willing to risk all she has in pursuit of him.dont know whether i would feel sorry for her,or give her a slap!

How can you hold an entire organization in guilt for the conduct of one person?
That is tantamount to saying that every elected official in the government is corrupt because one person was caught. (ha ha!).
