What ever happened to Free Speech?
Oct 25, 2007
Conservative commentator David Horowitz was forced to cut short his speech on "Islamo-Fascism" at Emory University in the face of repeated interruptions, heckling and catcalls from some audience members in a packed lecture room in White Hall on Wednesday.
When the disruptions peaked about 20 minutes into Horowitz's speech, Senior Vice Provost for Community and Diversity Ozzie Harris stood up at the back of the room and cautioned protestors to sit or risk being forcibly removed. Immediately, one man shouted: "Everyone stand up! They can't take all of us!"

Even one Muslim student was appalled:
"It's such a shame," Zaim said. "This is an academic environment. We're supposed to listen, especially if we disagree."

Liberals are not just intolerant, they are becoming racists and bigots. You can see it in their rants here. All you have to do is disagree with them, and the names and epithets come out.

The supposed new tolerance and diversity of the Liberal Left is nothing more than "changing the target".... and in doing so they are, in fact, far more bigoted, intolerant, mono-cultured, and sensors than the so called red necks and 'neo-cons' that they rant against. The most dangerous people in the world art those that have fanatical support for a belief system to the point that they not only don't listen to different points of view, but actively and violently suppress them. The sad thing is that they can't even support their own beliefs with reasoned thought. The Islamofascist that David was talking about are prime examples, as were the students "protesting"... they are the same wolf in different clothes.

Got to be a mistake!!! Why would the liberal Bias Media report such a thing!!! And CBS news of all news stations.
Or is it only liberal Bias when people don't like the facts that are being reported. Can't have it both ways.
As for freedom of speech it exists. However let's face some facts IF a person walks into a church cursing during sermon, not even the preacher would turn the other cheek. The person would be kicked out.

But yet a certain Antichrist can speak at Columbia and be the star of the show. I wish all the liberal A$$holes would just go to Cuba, or Iran and be oppressed like they want to be.

A friend of mine said this to me in a question I asked simular to this one, yesterday, and I believe him.
A new breed of Socialist is hatching , the "Woodstock Crowd" is getting close to the end of their usefulness ! It is time for the elder Socialist to step aside and let the new hatchlings continue the downward spiral from The Land of the Free , to The Home of the Confined.....

Yes. They deeply fear being showed up and having their foolish beliefs exposed for what they are.
They've threatened the lives of some students organizing anti-Islamofascist week. Which reveals the depth of their hypocrisy. "Free speech for Evil Leftists and no one else!"

If they didn't want to listen and didn't agree, they should have simply walked out. In this way they would at least have shown some class. I have walked out on liberal speakers.
As to why they can't stand the opposite point of view. All liberal thought, policies, values and beliefs have roots in specific lies. Once you assume the lies you can't come up with the truth. All liberal rhetoric is simply justification for those lies.
The division in this country is more fundamental than Liberal/Conservative. it's a battle between good and evil at it's very core. Liberals think Conservatives are evil. Liberals have, however, changed the definitions of words so that Evil is good and good is evil. A war against evil is not evil. Stealing by taxation becomes - paying your fair share, even if it more than everyone else is paying. Infanticide becomes - the right to choose. Homosexual sex becomes - gay marriage. Liberals stand for all things which are evil. Conservatives stand for all things which are good. Do you wonder why there is a shouting match?

I heard about this. But we must look at it this way. This is a libtard training collage. They train libtards there and as far as free speech goes you can have any opinion you want as long as you agree with them.
They are is enough to make me sick. You libtards do not believe in any thing except what you are taught. You have closed minds.

Many of the responses to this question only prove the poing of the questioner. Many have become intolerant. Great discrimination has come to the world of religion. Symbols of belief have been forced into hiding. The word Christmas has been forbidden on school campusses. The ideas and opinions of the conservitive are looked at as crazy and stupid. When really many of the ideas come wise men and are only called stupid because someone doesn't agree with it. It is hard to have a good conversation with some Liberals because they react harshly and angrily... However all of us are guilty of such reactions.

Liberals fear that which invariably will expose their utter lack of validity...the Truth. They resort to adolescent tactics such as you have pointed out due to a behavior pattern that has been allowed to be expressed and perpetuated by not only our education systems but by their parents as well (who have likely led their offspring by example).
