Don't feed it after 12am! HeHe.....You might want a scratching post and a how to keep your cat off things, or from scratching them. Cats have something inbred that makes them scratch up everything, so if you want to save the window shades, get a how to book (library) or just get a scratching post. Have fun with your new little one! :)

Check it for fleas before letting it into the house, Take it to a vet to have it checked, shots, and flea control meds. At 6 months old have it spayed or nutered. Be informed of issues like those and you'll be good to go.

i love kittens!
but perhaps you shouldn't have gotten the food and milk yet...the milk may go off.

i have a cat - and as soon as we got him, we made him a scratching pole using wood and carpet. If your not into making them, you can always buy them.
They are great fun and kittens (and cats) love them. They may be a bit expensive though depending where you get them from.

Have fun!!

Your kitten needs something to scratch on ! So buy a scratching post too!

Maybe a blanket. Kittens tend to like to knead blankets, it helps them feel secure. You'll also need a collar and name tag.

Milk? Is this special milk made for kittens or are you referring to cow's milk? If cow's milk please do not give this to your cat - it's not a calf and your kitten will get very ill.

Hopefully you're planning to keep this kitten INDOORS for its lifetime. The outdoors is no place for our pets - http://www.littlebigcat.com/index.php?action=library&act=show&item=indoorsoroutdoors
